A cornerstone of our business is the collaboration with specialists to achieve our clients' objectives.
Banks Groundwater Engineering staff have participated in many projects, studies, and investigations that have been completed successfully through a collaborative effort. This has often been as a member of a multi-disciplinary team of technical specialists that were required to develop innovative solutions to unique challenges. Team members have included hydrogeologists, engineers, planners, agricultural specialists, ecologists, biologists, geologists, geomorphologists, toxicologists, water well technicians, land developers, lawyers, among others. Examples of collaborative projects include groundwater supply programs, watershed studies, proposed land developments, municipal and federal environmental assessments, and source water protection planning.
One of the key benefits of collaborative efforts is the combination of local knowledge and expertise with experience drawn from similar environmental conditions in other locations. Our clients benefit from this team approach from the conceptual stage through to the approvals stage of a project. Our roles on these types of projects have ranged from providing specific hydrogeological expertise to project management capabilities.
Since our firm was founded in 2007, collaboration has been the cornerstone of our business. We are currently working with clients and other specialists on a project for the first time, while on several other assignments with team members we have known for more than two decades.
While many medium to large engineering and environmental services companies offer a range of technical capabilities, additional specialized resources are needed for certain projects to meet their clients' requirements or to respond to regulatory or review agencies. If you need to augment your in-house hydrogeology staff for a project or require longer-term expertise and guidance, Banks Groundwater Engineering staff can provide these services through an outsourcing arrangement. Our staff have helped to successfully complete a wide variety of projects in this manner for numerous consulting firms. We welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can assist you with your next project.
